Reconnecting with a lost passion: Revitalizing chess

For several years I had allowed my chess game to go by the wayside, but as of last year I decided to make a huge effort to revitalize it. I have done so by playing games via email with folks that I have made friends with in England. Thanks to Mark, Glen, and Irene, I am back on track and enjoying it all.

These three wonderful folks are also vision impaired. Mark is way above my level. Glen and Irene may be closer to me in level.

Playing chess enables me to develop patience, commitment, but most of all; learning how to better strategize on a daily basis and to take more time when making decisions.
