I guess that for the sighted world it does not matter whether or not photos are appropriately named. However, for me it is important so that I can identify them.
It does not matter that I can no longer see them but when I go to upload photos to Facebook or whenever I need to show photos to family or friends, I need to know which photo I am choosing.
Gabriella really helped me out on this day. First, I had my friend Jilla, who took the original photos, describe them to me in an email. Next, I showed these to Gabriella and then used the descriptions to name them appropriately.
In the normal scheme of things, whenever one takes a picture, it is given a name such as img followed by a bunch of numbers. No good for me.
