A favorite haunt: Remembering the Bo Peep Restaurant

Ah, yes!  The Bo Peep Restaurant, with its lingering smells of deliciously cooked food, the warmth of its staff, and everything good about it.

I was a regular visitor there and I went often with others and sometimes on my own.  I used to sit and enjoy it all and with functional vision at my disposal it was so very easy for me to spend time there just hanging out and watching the world go by.

I always enjoyed the cabbage rolls, the Ontario turkey dinner, and the roast beef.  I went with friends and even took clients there.  The Bo Peep was so very accessible to persons with disabilities.

The entrances were wide enough to accommodate wheelchairs.  The booths were the same and the aisles afforded great ease of passage.

The staff really knew how to be of service to seniors and persons with a disability.  They were patient and were always so very willing and ready to explain and assist.  I think that many restaurants of today could easily learn from the Bo Peep which closed in 2004.
