More technology for me! The WordPress environment

Yes, and it appears that WordPress is here to stay.  For me, it is a necessary evil and I am very fortunate that I am surrounded by very supportive and knowledgeable technicians and others.  For if I were left on my own I would surely sink.

This is probably one of the necessary evils for me as a vision-impaired person:  the continuing changes to our technical world.  I can barely keep up at times but this is what it is.
