Forever with me! Remembering the sand castles and more

 

After all of these years!  They still continue to dance in my head! Memories of those elegant sand castles and tall mountains that I and my family used to build on the sand during our beach vacations.  We built sand castles!  We built mountains!  We built forts!  We dug water pools!  We made sand cakes and decorated them with sea shells!

Then our beloved dogs would come by and sniff them, walk among them, and occasionally either step on them or over them!

Such marvelous times for me and my imagination!  I used to simply revel under a tropical sun with blue skies and waves with white caps rolling gently towards the shore.  Then, when it got too warm I would either cool off in the warm water of the ocean or in the cool water of the close-by lagoon.

Everything seemed so very simple and innocent then.  No worries!  No concerns!  Nothing to worry about and everything to look forward to!  Lots of laughter, hope, expectations; this was me as a kid enjoying my childhood days!
