The irritating thing about these bothersome little things is that, as a vision-impaired person, you never know when they are around until they actually sting you. However, for someone with sight, it is almost the same if a sighted person does not see them in time.
Wasps do not make any noise when they come near you. They are what I call the silent stingers and boy do they ever sting hard! Their sting can even cause one to get a slight fever.
I often wonder what is their purpose in our world, but then again!
