My beloved Sears forever: I'll never forget Sears

This crown jewel of the Canadian retail landscape may have closed its doors forever but I can tell you, my beloved Sears, I'll never forget you.

I spent so many wonderful shopping days in your stores in Montreal and Toronto and I bought all kinds of things from you.  From furniture to exercise equipment and from pots and pans to sheets and comforters to bathroom fixtures to kitchenware.  Everything was so good.

I even bought dolls at Christmas time, a Christmas tree with all of the ornaments, a doll cabinet, and so much more.  I also bought clothes and shoes, slippers, and fall and winter jackets and coats.

It was always so enjoyable to shop at your stores.  Even my mom used to enjoy visiting you.  She and I would spend endless hours shopping, walking, and simply loitering in your facilities.

Now you are gone but you will never be forgotten!  You were part of my life and you will continue to be but now it has to be in my memory!

I'm Donna J. Jodhan, your friendly accessibility advisor, wishing you a terrific day.
