Setting the Big Ben clock

When it is not possible for you to see what you are doing then here is where one's fingers come in to help to complete the task.  This is what happened in the summer of 2015 when I had to help Mom reset her Big Ben clock.

First, I removed the batteries and then Mom did her part by resetting the time.  I could not do this because I am unable to see the hands on the clock.

Next, I replaced the batteries at the back of the clock and then I set to work to do the more difficult stuff.  It all had to do with making sure that the chimes were in sync with the time.

After a minute or so I got it and it took a bit of figuring out.  I had to explore and experiment with the tiny buttons at the back of the clock but at the end of it all, it got done.

Big Ben was back on his feet and chiming away at the appropriate times.
