A new experience: Laughing gas
My only interaction with laughing gas was when I saw it in a Flintstones episode where the dentist gave poor Barnie too much of it and he simply went off track.
On this day, my dentist gave it to me to help me deal with the pain of a root canal.
No problem. The laughing gas worked like a charm but I did not go off track like Barnie.

What a disappointment: The failed implant

I have yet to find someone who would readily admit that they enjoy appointments at the dentist! I fall into the category of not really enjoying my visits to my dentist despite my liking my dentist!
On this occasion, however, Dr. Cory’s attempt to place an implant in the lower left of my mouth failed. It was not for the lack of trying, but alas! My bone density did not allow me to have it done.
Dr. Cory was so good in describing every stage of the procedure to me and it sure helped to ease my mind, but at the end of it all I was relieved to be out of the chair!

My careful Doctor Cory: Visiting the dentist during the pandemic
I can honestly say that I was not overly concerned or nervous when I visited Doctor Cory, my wonderful dentist, to have some work done. All of the safeguards were in place when Sue and I walked in for our first appointment and Arlene had asked all of the stipulated questions before my appointment.
Doctor Cory and his assistant were so very careful, all gowned and masked, and so very considerate in explaining everything to me. As a vision-impaired person, I really depend on those around me to explain, assist, and for me to trust them all the way.
This was the case and I am sure that this helped to make the appointment a good and smooth one.

A refreshing experience: My new dentist
there who feel the same, it is always a challenge whenever we
change doctors and dentists. Oh, yes! A challenge it is, indeed,
but my new dentist is very cool, as they say.
When my long time dentist, Doctor Yaser, retired I was really sad but I
understood that he had to leave because of having broken his arm in three
places. As he told me, it was time to retire and hang up his drill.
The good thing is that he personally chose his successor and I have not been
disappointed. Doctor Corey Worman would or could never replace my dear
Doctor Yaser but he is very good and is unique in his own way.
He is friendly and puts me at ease. He does not seem to have any problems
interacting with a vision-impaired patient and this is key for me. So, a
great stroke of luck for me.
