The good times! Cleaning mom's kitchen island

I really enjoy cleaning Mom’s kitchen island.  Twice daily, I run my fingers across the surface of this island and it is enough for me to take a damp cloth and wipe it thoroughly.

I am not sure as to whether or not I am extra attentive to dust on surfaces due to being vision impaired. I am willing to confess that it may be so.

I just do not like to feel dust under my fingers.  And I will also say that there are several sighted folks who do not like to see dust on surfaces.  So, in essence we are both alike; I do not like to feel dust and they do not like to see dust.
