A great feeling: Auntie's recovery

She is strong and determined and each time I visit her I am so reminded of this.  Her recovery is slow but sure.

Now that I can no longer see her, I find other ways to remind myself of what she looks like.  I listen to her voice and I sit next to her.  I reach for her hand and put mine in hers.  I answer her questions and I ask her how she is doing.

I am just so happy that I got to see what she looked like before I lost my vision.

Auntie has a lot of good lessons to pass on to me.  She never complains and takes everything in stride.  In short, she is a good old trooper!
